MATTHEW MULHORN
Assistant to the Pastor, Business Manager for the Church and Christian School, Deacon, Adult Sunday School/Bible Study Fellowship teacher

Matt was born and raised in southwestern PA.  From a young age he attended Mt. Carmel Community Church, accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, was baptized, and joined the Mt. Carmel Community Church.  He graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. degree in accounting in 1981.  He married his high school sweetheart, Peggy, in the summer of 1980.  Matt and Peggy had met at a youth outing involving Mt. Carmel and Peggy’s church, Dunbar Baptist. In the summer of 1981 he became the Assistant to the Pastor and Business Manager for Mt. Carmel Church and Christian School.  Matt was named to the Board of the Keystone Christian Education Association in 2018.  He is also an entrepreneur and is owner of the local H&R Block franchises.  He is an Enrolled Agent to Practice before the IRS.  Over the years at Mt. Carmel Matt’s ministries have included coaching the school’s soccer team, working with the youth group, being a deacon and church treasurer, and teaching the Adult Sunday School Class.
