WHAT TO EXPECT

Bible Study Group (9:30-10:15 AM)

Learning what God says in His Word is vitally important for us all. During this time, we will read and study the Bible together to learn its meaning and how to apply it to the choices of life.

Worship Service (10:30-11:40 AM)

We join together in the church auditorium. During this time, our purpose is to offer ourselves in worship and service to God. Our desire is to give glory to God for who He is and for what He’s done. Our goal is 1 Corinthians 10:31, “Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

During the service, our congregational hymns usually follow a Bible theme. When we sing, we have the privilege of singing before God, and we sing to encourage each other in the truths we believe. Our desire is to exalt, reverence, and please our God through music. We enjoy singing and learning new songs from the Rejoice Hymnal.

Prayer expresses our praise and thanksgiving to God, as well as our complete dependence upon Him. Our desire is for God to meet with us as we worship Him.

The most important part of preaching and teaching is the explanation of what God’s words mean. The Bible will be read, accurately explained, and practically applied to our personal lives. God chose preaching as a vital means to communicate His Truth to us.

Sunday Morning:

Evening Service (6:00-7:00PM)

We have the opportunity to join together again for more fellowship, singing, and practical Bible study that is more interactive.

Learn more about our school!

Mt. Carmel is a private Christian school. It was founded in 1974 by the former pastor, Dr. William Hoffman. The school enrolls students in grades K-12. The students receive a high-quality education grounded in the Christian faith. Our outstanding faculty are here, not only because of their knowledge and passion for teaching, but because of a calling to serve the Lord at MCCS and a desire to see their students grow in the love, grace, and knowledge of the Lord.
